The gallery will present Swiss artist Olaf Breuning’s first solo exhibition at the gallery’s S-chanf space, 27 March – 29 May 2021. The exhibition will showcase a new series of woodcut paintings by the the artist, which form part of Breuning’s new body of work. Exploring the theme of nature, the paintings will playfully address pressing subjects such as global warming. Breuning is known for his multi-layered oeuvre that questions contemporary reality. Since the early 2000s, he has created ambivalent photographs and installations that undermine a simple reading of the surrounding world.
