– As an extension of her work and research on the presence of bodies in public space, Jeanne Tara is working on dissecting the forms and representations linked to the applied arts in architecture. Deeply rooted in a reflection on knowledge and savoir-faire, she raises a material and physical questioning, both on the durability of techniques as well as on the adaptability of the work and tools to bodies for which they have not been thought.
La mesure des possibles is the staging of a society that would not be solely based on principles of extraction, acceleration and accumulation. In the space, wrought iron signs are the traces of a lost civilization of which the signage would be the only vestige. Chimerical beings inhabiting the place seem to be the emblems of this imagined society. –
