Up the Stairs is a group exhibition gathering works from the collection of the Fonds Cantonal d'Art Contemporain of Geneva. Mohamed Almusibli and Alicia Reymond, laureates of the 2021 curatorial grant, present a selection of artworks that elaborate representation mechanisms that question the inter-relation between spaces, bodies and imagination. These works transport us into complex universes where various forms of projection are superimposed on memories of lived and internalized situations. In this way, they take into account the impact that physical spaces and architectures leave on both physical bodies and the imagination.
